Pictures From Connor's First Two All Star Games

I know most of my posts lately have been about Connor and baseball.  Let me just say that I still love my other kids and they are still amazing, this All Star thing has just consumed every minute of free time and then some the past few weeks.  The other two have dance recitals in two weeks so expect them to get the Bloggy Attention then!

Connor has played so well in his first two all star games ever.  He has hit the ball in all six at bats he has had, today in the second game he was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and the second one was a walk off two RBI double to left field.  He has played the heck out of the catcher position.  He took a ball off of the face mask that pushed it into his throat in game 1 but shook it off and stayed in.  Later that game he took a foul off of the forearm and it left a nasty mark, you can see where the laces hit his arm.  Check it out below, along with the other pictures from the first two games.

Needless to say we got him an arm band to wear from now on.  I am so proud of him and all of the team, they have killed it so far winning 24-16 game 1, and then 12-2 today in game 2.  Our next game is on Tuesday at 8:00 and it will be a tough one because we play a AAA team which is a higher level from our own league.  I watched their first game because one of the boys I coached in the fall is on that team and they are really, really good.  Good thing our boys are pretty darn good too.  It should be a fun one!

The rest of the pics are on shutterfly you should be able to see them below.

Pictures From Connor's All Star Scrimmage On May 26, 2013

Here are some pictures from the same game that the previous video came from.

Video From Connor's Scrimmage on Sunday

Connor played in a scrimmage game for his 7 Year old Machine Pitch All Star Team.  He played 4 great innings at catcher, went 3 for 3 (even though I got him thrown out on this one it still counts as a single) and had 3 RBI, including the "go ahead" RBI to put us up by a final of 7-6 on this hit to the fence.
